TEACHERS

Kate Hall teaches private classes at Pure yoga, and around the city. She has had a varied career working as an actor, at an auction house in San Francisco, running a not-for-profit in New York called Only Make Believe. The constant throughout has been yoga. She finds freedom and contentment by returning to her practice, and she is passionate about sharing that experience.

Judy Glassman

After a career in marketing, Judy is now following her true passion and teaching yoga full-time.  In Judy’s view, yoga is an emotional, mental, physical and integrative practice that heals, strengthens, balances and focuses the body, mind and soul.

Judy is certified 200-hour RYT Vinyasa by Yoga Alliance in addition to Anusara Therapeutics, Ayurveda Therapeutics, Therapeutics Essentials, Yin and Restorative.  Her interest and study in how the physical form correctly functions with breath and movement, is a continuous source of fascination and training.

Judy is grateful to her yoga teachers and mentors for their ongoing support and community.

Christine Zehner first stepped onto the yoga mat almost ten years ago and was immediately inspired by the transformative power of an alignment based practice. She chose to study at World Yoga Center because of its deep lineage and connection to Anusara principles and received a 200 hour teacher training certificate in 2014. Christine also holds certificates through advanced training in kids yoga from OM Schooled, restorative yoga, focus for older adults via BomerPlus, meditation, classical myths, and the in-depth mentoring program at Twisted Trunk. Along with teaching at various yoga studios and schools across the city, her downtown loft provides an inspired space for private practice geared towards teens and a creative community seeking precision through joyful action.  There is a sweetness to her teaching and she loves to share the abundant possibilities that each pose has to offer, while maintaining strong clarity that is both playful and practical. Integrating her experience on the mat and her yoga education with years spent in the art world, she brings an esthetic of discovery to each class. Meditation is incorporated into the physical practice so students of all ages and experience can discover the hidden depth of this empowering journey.
